Hooray for today!!! :)
We are so positively excited today because we finally get to share another Wedding Agency client's wedding. And this is a good one!
When DLSU Engineering graduates Chummy and Bert got us to conceptualize for their wedding, the brief was as clear as the shores of Punta Fuego:
1. They were to have two weddings at Punta Fuego and they wanted to have two separate concepts for both weddings.
2. They wanted a fun and beautiful beach wedding concept that would represent their personalities
3. And they wanted us to incorporate Hello Kitty and Panda Bear into the wedding because it has a special meaning for them.
We then came up the concept which we called "Sunsets, Seashells, and Sparkles." The concept was a "Classic w/ a Twist" kind of theme wherein we combined all of the couple's favorite beach elements to create a sort of whimsical and romantic vibe. Here are some of the slides from their walkthrough:
From the wedding invitation, to the bridal look, and down to supplier suggestions like We Do It For Love (Photography), Ian Cruz (Video), and Teddy Manuel (Styling), we recommended ideas and wedding partners that would go well with the couple's theme and personalities. We enjoyed working with Chummy and Bert and it brings us so much joy and bliss to see their wedding day come together.
Bert and Chummy writes:
Hello Kai & Mica,
We're married,
finally!!! :) Hope this email finds you well. I know this is delayed,
sorry for that. We just became busy with our jobs after the wedding. But
I did promise myself to find time to write this email so on behalf of
me & Bert, we want to say thank you so much! You've definitely
helped us conceptualize our dream wedding. It's been quite a journey
with the preps and the walkthrough did come in handy as we talked to
our suppliers. I'd like to share with you what happened on our wedding
day and I'll try to summarize as much as I can. :)
For
our Catholic Wedding ceremony, we only had our immediate family and
closest relatives as our guests and had a lunch gathering afterwards...it was
just the way we wanted it to be: simple, traditional & intimate.
For
our Beach Wedding ceremony in the afternoon, we had our not-so-traditional ceremony and we had around 90 guests this time. God gave us
the gift of a perfect weather that day which gave way to the gorgeously
awesome styling by Teddy Manuel. I totally loved the aisle runner,
flower crown and the seashell bouquet with two looks that he made for
me! It matched my seashell embroidered wedding gown made by Mel Orlina. I
chose not to wear my veil too and I've never felt so free...haha! Of
course, Bert looked handsome in his suit made by Tiño Suits. We didn't
get a pastor to officiate but instead, our lead coordinator did the
"officiating" herself...It was a very meaningful ceremony for us. The best part, we had
our kiss as Mr. & Mrs. E just in time for the sunset! :D
I
guess I could say that I was lucky enough that my husband and our
respective families gave their full support for the two weddings, and
for me this is very important. You can choose to sway from the "usual"
but you also have to take into consideration what the parents will say
too. After all, they've always been there to love and take care of us
throughout our single lives. Overall, I guess I could say that majority
of what we have brainstormed were put to reality that even until now,
I'm still on a high of how beautiful it was. Again, thank you so much
and hope you'll have more clients in the future because rebellious
brides like me need both of you! Godbless! :)
