With the plethora of beach, garden, and church weddings, it's refreshing to see Jem and Moshe's city rooftop wedding riddled with thoughtful minimalist details. Think black and white typography, architecture, and the bride's rebellious bridal jumpsuit!

With all the weddings happening left and right, it was a real challenge to make our wedding STAND OUT. At first, we didn’t have a particular vision for our dream wedding but we always knew that we wanted it to be anything but TRADITIONAL.
During the early stages of planning the wedding, my husband and I agreed that we wanted something simple, unique and classy. That’s why we chose the Modern + Minimal theme with a black and white motif. The black and white color added to the chic and modern vibe which perfectly highlighted our personality as a couple.
As for the Venue, we didn’t want our wedding to be another beach or garden ceremony because all of my girlfriends are already doing it, so we decided to raise the roof (literally) and went for a rooftop venue. We used the cityscape as our backdrop and the sunset made the ceremony more romantic.
The bridal jumpsuit - One of our rebellious ideas was that I will drive myself to the venue. In able to pull this off, I went with the simple yet comfortable bridal jumpsuit. My friend did the sketch with my two specific requests – NO LACE. NO BEADS.
The entourage - To achieve the mismatched bridesmaid look, I asked my girls to wear their favorite LBDs with matching black shoes.
More Rebellious Ideas - For my bouquet, I wanted white anemones in line with our motif but it was hard to find that particular kind of flower, so my friend made the paper version for me. She also made the paper flowers and paper boutonnieres used by our entourage.
Our wedding was everything we imagined it to be. Rebellious yet romantic and memorable. We are so glad we decided to focus on what was really necessarily. It saved us a lot of stress and money *wink*
