I don't know if it's because of yearly Pantone trends or Pinterest, or just wedding magazines...but weddings from a specific time period have a tendency to have very similar color motifs because brides naturally gravitate towards what they see all the time.

The color combo of Coral & Teal for instance has got to be one of the most overly used palettes in the past 3 years. If you'd like to have a more creative source of inspiration for your color palettes, take your cue from Rebellious Bride Jhoanne--instead of Pinerest, she looked at Post-Its. Yes, Post-Its! She got her inspiration from the fun, popping colors of Post-Its and used that as her color palette. How refreshing!
