Rex of Wedoitforlove had a client who had around a gazillion relatives. Okay, maybe just around 70 or so. She's actually the mom of the bride and she wanted to do something rebellious. She wanted a styled backdrop for their family/clan portrait to be done in between the ceremony and the reception. So she got a small function room in a hotel and asked Rex, if he knew anyone who create the backdrop. Rex told them I could do the styling. I immediately said yes. Because I'm all for a challenge. So I tapped my artist friend Gary Pastrana for a collaboration. The family were quite happy with set-up that I think they had more photos there than the photo booth outside.
As for the couple Nikki and Hiro, they had a more stylized pictorial than the usual hotel shots. Almost like a magazine shoot set-up, if I may say. Here's a teaser from today's wedding:

So instead of just lounging around, and just waiting for the couple before the reception, why not have a styled area and take your pictorial with friends and family to a higher level! It surely would make for rebelliously fantastic photos :)
