In part two of Lyanne & Winchester's prenup session (click HERE to see the first part set in Victoria Court), I love the idea of creating a different spin on the otherwise widely popular Alice in Wonderland e-session. Always remember that no one really can "own" an idea--it's how you can innovate an idea that makes it creative or truly your own.
Here's how Rebellious Bride Lyanne recalls their Wonderland prenup:
Winchester and I fell in love with Tim Burton’s creepy yet cute and playful style.
I had my gowns custom made by my designer friends in our province. I gave them pegs of the designs I liked-- the blue Alice, pink Alice, playful Alice and the villain Red Queen. My blue blazer was thrifted, I even sewn on my own including Winchester’s colored buttons, creepy watch and the ruffles on my gown.
I did all of my accessories, the watch and heart necklaces and bracelets, earrings and the life-sized playing cards. It was very taxing but so worth it.
The biggest challenge was on the day of the shoot due to the on and off heavy rains, I was so worried we couldn’t make it. Thanks to our “Extremely Awesome” photographer Oly Ruiz of Metrophoto. The photos turned out “Extremely Awesome!”. He is really the best in his craft.
Our heartfelt thanks to the awesome people behind the success of our rebellious Save the date Video and E-session:
